Whitehaven is ideally situated on Whitby’s west cliff, only a short walk from the beach and town centre.
Free parking is available on street with permits provided by ourselves, alternatively there is a pay and display car park adjacent to the guest house. The car park is free overnight, 6pm-9am and is completely free during the winter months, November through to February inclusive.
Whitehaven dates back to Edwardian times and whilst retaining many of its lovely original features, has been refurbished over recent years to provide a contemporary twist with all the modern amenities expected from todays discerning traveller. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities with the exception of one which has its own private bathroom.
All rooms have quality Egyptian cotton bedding, fluffy bath sheets and are equiped with flat panel TV's with either freesat / freeview channel availability.
The guest house offers free WI-FI throughout the building.
All rooms have courtesy tray, Hairdryer, radio/ alarm clock and complimentary toiletries. Rooms are all centrally heated and have lovely views of the surrounding area.
Ironing facilities and dvd player are available on request.
