With the quaint fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay 5 miles to the East, the popular seaside town of Whitby 5 miles to the North and endless stretches of breath-taking countryside all around, Newton House Farm is the perfect base from which to explore.

Climb the 199 steps to get a bit of culture at the Abbey ruins and St Mary’s Church set atop the East Cliff. Take surf lessons in the North Sea, or hunt for crabs in the rock pools.
Enjoy a wander around the cobbled streets in the Old Town or have a stroll along the sea front – you may even spot a dolphin on the horizon!
Take a pause whilst enjoying a slice of homemade cake in a cosy café then finish your day perfectly by sampling the local fish and chips from one of the many restaurants or take-aways the town has to offer.
