Autumn's Nook

Autumn's Nook is a cosy first-floor apartment in Whitby town centre accommodating 2 people and 1 dog. The accommodation comprises a comfortable open-plan lounge and kitchen, a double bedroom and a shower room. From the bedroom, there are views of the abbey and St Mary's church and it is just a 2-minute stroll down to the picturesque harbour with its independent shops and many bistros.

Autumn's Nook is located on Silver Street in Whitby town centre, tucked behind the main shopping street and just yards from the much-loved Rusty Shears cafe. The apartment is located on the first floor of the building. The front door opens into a small entrance hall with coat hooks and space for shoes and boots. The open-plan living space comprises a comfortable sofa with side tables and an upholstered armchair. For formal dining, there is a fixed drop-leaf table and 2 chairs and entertainment is provided by a wall-mounted TV with Freeview and integral DVD player.

The kitchen area is small but well-equipped and makes excellent use of space. There is a 4-ring gas hob with extractor fan above and an electric fan oven, washing machine, under-counter fridge with freezer compartment, a Whirlpool microwave, kettle, toaster and stainless steel sink. There are 2 windows to the front elevation which give this space a light and airy feel.

The bedroom comprises a double bed with upholstered headboard and a bedside shelf and lamp to each side. There is a wardrobe with a full-length mirrored door and a dressing table and chair. The window to the rear aspect provides a lovely view across to the abbey headland (and a glimpse of the sea if you stand on tiptoes).

Central heating and hot water are provided by combi-boiler and the apartment is double-glazed.

One dog is accepted but conditions apply. We respectfully request that your dog must never be left alone in the apartment, not even for a short space of time, and they must not be allowed on the furniture or the bed.
