I'm Ellie, owner of Oakapple Haberdashery. I live in Whitby, on the beautiful North Yorkshire coast, with my husband, two children and two cats.
I work from a cosy shed in my garden, where I plan all my various projects and events for the coming year. My fabric is all stored in my house, so it is kept warm and dry.
I handpick everything that you see in my store - choosing things which I love and which I think my customers will love. Comments from my customers and looking at what they like to buy helps me select which items I stock.
All items are packed and dispatched by me. I pride myself on packing products well, so when you've ordered you can look forward to one of my polka dot or stripy mail bags popping through your letter box.
In addition to my online store, I can often be found at various Quilting and Crafting shows around the country, at present from Glasgow to Malvern and many places in between!
